Kawag Forest Area Scientific Exploration, Lahad Datu
The main objective of this scientific exploration is to get researchers from various organisations and agencies to provide information on flora and fauna to facilitate the conservation, management and establishment of Kawag Forest Area. Researchers from Institute of Borneo Studies had conducted a bat survey to provide a checklist of bat species that can provide additional information, which is useful to improve the current management plans as well as to provide eco-tourism potentials for Kawag Forest Area.
