About the event
This workshop is based on the research output of indigenous community, Murut Tahol ethnic group conducted by UCSF researchers led by IBS in Kampung Alutok, Ulu Tomani Tenom. A total of 30 participants comprising of creative artists and lecturers were success produced creative art innovation based on the traditional motifs and patterns of the Murut Tahol community.
The purpose of the workshop:
- Venue for sharing knowledge between researchers and UCSF members based on research finding on Indigenous community: Murut Tahol, Ulu Tomani Tenom
- Innovate arts product based on Murut Tahol’s traditional heritage motifs & patterns
- Rebranding & sustaining the Indigenous arts products through Green Philosophy
