About the research
The area of ICCA is a unique conservation area because located adjacent to the local community settlements consisting of Mukim Tongod, Mukim Pinangah, Mukim of Karamuak and Mukim of Kuamut.
The aims of the research:
- Conducting a community profile survey of communities at ICCA in order to examine the socio-economic status of the community.
- Identify the impact of socio-economic transformation resulting from the community’s involvement in ICCA occupation.
- To identify the eco-tourism potential in ICCA
